Back From a Hiatus

Whew! It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I’m sorry. I went through a lil funk, something that threw me off of my writing kick. I’m slowly getting back into it, but I’m here.

Everyone’s been dealing with the same thing, trying to adapt to COVID. Dealing with the new do’s and don’t’s (< that’s right, right?) . Dealing with the politics of non-political things. It’s been crazy, but if you’re reading this, you’ve made it through the craziness. We’ve made it.

But enough about COVID. Let’s catch up.

If you look at the url, it’s now just ‘theblasiandad.com’. The reason behind that is I’m going to start doing more than just blogging. We’ll have a few more things to share, video content, branding, and shorten the name was just easier. So hopefully over the next few weeks, we’ll have a lot of things for you to click thru. Me and the wifey are going to start some things. Me and mini me may have a few things up our sleeve as well.

I also picked up a nice lil’ camera to learn about some photography. I’ve taken some pictures here and there, but its time for me to use it a little more if I want to be serious about it. So you’ll probably see some dope pics (in my opinion) on here more often.

Mini me also started a candle and wax melt company: Bumble B’s Waxes and Candles. November 2020 she opened her online store and so far has done pretty well for herself. She recently completed an order for 100 candles for birthday favors (shout out to Ms. A!). Mini Me is learning the science behind wax products, but also learning about business. So even if in 2-3 years she says she want’s to stop, she’ll have some basic knowledge to take with her whenever she starts something new. Lastly, chapter 39 is coming up. Not for sure what I’m going to do to celebrate, but I’ll figure out something LOL
